In addition, we are pleased to announce that we are now the representatives for GE Global Services (GEGS). GE Global Services is the nation's largest third party supplier of critical power services. Maintenance service contracts are available for UPS and battery systems, generator services and HVAC system services.
U.S. Tech meets the challenge of supplying back up power to the most critical power requirements with the ability to comply with even the most stringent specifications. We are power protection specialists with over twenty years of experience in selling and servicing single and three phase UPS applications. If you want complete continuous power protection for your critical power needs, we are the company to connect with.
We are proud to have offered our products and services to customers such as the U.S. Navy, NASA, Citigroup, T-Mobile, Pratt & Whitney and many others. We have been called on to supply a critical power system requiring a remotely monitored UPS on top of the east tower of the George Washington Bridge. Recently, we completed a 900kVA critical power data center project for a large financial services company in Massachusetts. The system included complete engineering responsibility along with the supply and installation of generators, UPS and switchgear.
U.S. Tech also has experience with government-funded projects that require long term completions demanding attention over several years. We have diligently worked with the Port Authority of NY/NJ to supply UPS for the JFK Light Rail AIRTRAIN for NYC. On-going rail projects include the Miami/Dade Transit Authority Metro Rail and Metro Mover in Miami FL and The Las Vegas Monorail Project in Las Vegas, NV.
Medical and hospital applications require special attention due to their oscillating loads and high in-rush currents. The GE SG Series three phase UPS, because of its revolutionary Space Vector Modulation (SVM) technology, easily handles these special, critical power protection applications. For single phase applications such as blood analyzers or mass spectrometers with cycling electric motors the Accratech Linear/1, having a 200% overload capacity for 60 seconds and U.L. 2601/60601 approval for hospital use makes this the right choice for the application.
U.S. Tech has supplied UPS for 18 U.S. Navy ships, most recently retrofitting the aircraft carriers George Washington and Abraham Lincoln on their return from the Persian Gulf and the War in Iraq. These units are "ruggedized" and meet mil-spec 901d Class A for shock. We are also working with the government contractors on the UPS for the new DD class of ships for the U.S. Navy.
Our international experience includes a 1mW N+1 data center for a bank in London, England, a project to supply UPS across Europe on satellite stations for the United Nations, a data center for UNICEF in Tanzania, Africa and a resort on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. The logistics and coordination with our partners on these projects is critical. The shipping, delivery and start up scheduling are accomplished smoothly and professionally by our home office, which is located in Franklin Lakes, NJ. U.S. Tech has sales offices in Metro Boston, Metro New York, Denver, Metro Washington, D.C., the Carolinas and South Florida.
